kaleidoscope continues to hang in there financially with some new series and some big shows coming up in october.

new to kaleidoscope is chef Kevin Williams SoupDup available at the wednesday jazz jams, 8-11. check it out, everybody's raving and i can personally vouch for the
corn chowder with pomegranate and ginger creme fraiche, the vietnamese style gazpacho, the fall bisque with roasted fall veggies, and the heirloom tomato. yum.
all SoupDup soups are vegetarian. some are vegan.

Eric Moffat premiered a new series last month at kaleidoscope with a showing of Holy Mountain accompanied by live improvisational music. this months move and
music treat is Look Back in Anger

i often say that in san francisco halloween is not a night but a season. look for a hot band on sat oct 30 and kaleidoscope's halloween party on sunday oct 31
it's gonna be HELLACIOUS

last but by no means least, october is the month kaleidoscope mounts the long-awaited pianopalooza! featuring 24 hours of piano played on kaleidoscope's
beautiful 1915 chickering quarter grand by some of the bay area's finest pianists and a few who someday will be... chef Kevin Williams, mentioned above, will
be providing the food and proceeds will go to save this fine piano and the space it's in. tickets are available at brown paper tickets
